How outings work here
Teens and adults with disabilities deserve premium lifestyle experiences that promote real-world independence, peer inclusion, and pure joy. Whether it is after-school outings for teens or daytime support for young adults, door-to-door bus transportation is included across the Roanoke area.
Every outing is scaffolded community instruction in familiar local places, focusing on daily living skills, executive functioning, financial literacy, street safety, and sensory regulation. Before high-sensory stops, we huddle on the bus and practice self-advocacy.
In local stores, participants use visual shopping lists and tools like the Next Dollar Slider Card so they can pay independently. We finish each session with lunch, a meal, or a snack together in town.
Non-center based day support
For adults 18+. Turn a routine errand into a powerful milestone for personal autonomy. This is a scaffolded, hands-on community instructional day focused on daily living skills, executive functioning, and financial literacy. Weekly mid-day Tue and Thu 10am-2pm. Bi-weekly evening first and third Friday.

Non-center based after school support
For teens 14-17. After school community instruction in Roanoke: neighborhood parks, libraries, local shops. Life skills, social navigation, sensory regulation. Bi-weekly Mon and Wed after school to 5pm.

Licensure and compliance
Adult track: Application in progress with Virginia DBHDS; path to Medicaid Waiver provider status in progress.
Teen track: Seeking licensure as an Out-of-School Time Child Day Center through VDOE.
Ages served: 14-40. We welcome inquiries from families and case managers about launch dates.
